Who Is A Martyr

بِسْــــــــــــــــــمِ اﷲِالرَّحْمَنِ اارَّحِيم

Sa’id ibn Zaid reported: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, say,

“Whoever is killed protecting his wealth is a martyr; and whoever is killed protecting his religion is a martyr;

and whoever is killed protecting his life is a martyr; and whoever is killed protecting his family is a martyr.”

[ Sunan At-Tirmidhi ]


عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ

 مَنْ قُتِلَ دُونَ مَالِهِ فَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ وَمَنْ قُتِلَ دُونَ دِينِهِ فَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ

 وَمَنْ قُتِلَ دُونَ دَمِهِ فَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ وَمَنْ قُتِلَ دُونَ أَهْلِهِ فَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ

Whoever is killed protecting his wealth, religion, life, or family is a martyr

Offer Peace to the World

بِسْــــــــــــــــــمِ اﷲِالرَّحْمَنِ اارَّحِيم

Amar ibn Yasir رضي الله عنه said: “Whoever has three signs together will have gathered the Faith: 

Equity with yourself, offering peace to the world, and spending from small amounts.”

[Sahih Bukhari]

ثَلَاثٌ مَنْ جَمَعَهُنَّ فَقَدْ جَمَعَ الْإِيمَانَ :

 الْإِنْصَافُ مِنْ نَفْسِكَ ، وَبَذْلُ السَّلَامِ لِلْعَالَمِ ، وَالْإِنْفَاقُ مِنَ الْإِقْتَارِ

Worldly life is nothing

بِسْــــــــــــــــــمِ اﷲِالرَّحْمَنِ اارَّحِيم

Al-Mustawrid narrated: The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said: 

“The example of this worldly life in comparison to the Hereafter is not but any one of you dipping his finger in the sea; 

let him see what he brings forth.”

( Sunan Ibn Majah )

الْمُسْتَوْرِدَ، أَخَا بَنِي فِهْرٍ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يَقُولُ

 مَا مَثَلُ الدُّنْيَا فِي الآخِرَةِ إِلاَّ مَثَلُ مَا يَجْعَلُ أَحَدُكُمْ إِصْبَعَهُ فِي الْيَمِّ

 فَلْيَنْظُرْ بِمَ يَرْجِعُ

There is no gift better than patience

بِسْــــــــــــــــــمِ اﷲِالرَّحْمَنِ اارَّحِيم

Abu Sa’id Al-Khudri reported : Indeed, some people from the Ansar asked the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, and he gave them. 

Then they asked (for charity) again and he gave them. Then they asked again and he gave them until all he had was gone. 

He said, “If I had anything, I would not withhold it. Whoever refrains from asking others, then Allah will make him content; and whoever would be self-sufficient, then Allah will make him self-sufficient; and whoever would be patient, then Allah will make him patient. 

There is no gift that is better and more comprehensive than patience.”

( Sahih Bukhari )

عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ إِنَّ نَاسًا مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ سَأَلُوا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَعْطَاهُمْ ثُمَّ سَأَلُوهُ فَأَعْطَاهُمْ ثُمَّ سَأَلُوهُ فَأَعْطَاهُمْ حَتَّى نَفِدَ مَا عِنْدَهُ فَقَالَ مَا يَكُونُ عِنْدِي مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَلَنْ أَدَّخِرَهُ عَنْكُمْ وَمَنْ يَسْتَعْفِفْ يُعِفَّهُ اللَّهُ وَمَنْ يَسْتَغْنِ يُغْنِهِ اللَّهُ وَمَنْ يَتَصَبَّرْ يُصَبِّرْهُ اللَّهُ وَمَا أُعْطِيَ أَحَدٌ عَطَاءً خَيْرًا وَأَوْسَعَ مِنْ الصَّبْرِ

Allah Has Forgiven The Muslims

بِسْــــــــــــــــــمِ اﷲِالرَّحْمَنِ اارَّحِيم

Abu Dharr Al-Ghifari reported : 

The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said, 

“Verily, Allah has pardoned my nation for their mistakes, their forgetfulness, 

and what they are coerced into doing.”

[Sunan Ibn Majah]

عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ الْغِفَارِيِّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ

 إِنَّ اللَّهَ تَجَاوَزَ عَنْ أُمَّتِي الْخَطَأَ وَالنِّسْيَانَ وَمَا اسْتُكْرِهُوا عَلَيْهِ

Allah has forgiven the Muslims for their honest mistakes and what they are forced to do against their will

When The Messiah Returns

بِسْــــــــــــــــــمِ اﷲِالرَّحْمَنِ اارَّحِيم

Jabir ibn Abdullah reported: I heard the Prophet, peace be upon him, say, 

“There will not cease to be a group of my people fighting for the sake of the truth and prevailing until the Day of Resurrection.” 

Then he said, “Jesus the son of Mary, peace be upon him, will descend and the commander (of the Muslims) will invite him to lead the prayer but he would say: 

No, some of you are commanders over others. This is an honor for this nation.”

( Sahih Muslim )

جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ

 لَا تَزَالُ طَائِفَةٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِي يُقَاتِلُونَ عَلَى الْحَقِّ ظَاهِرِينَ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ

 قَالَ فَيَنْزِلُ عِيسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَيَقُولُ أَمِيرُهُمْ تَعَالَ صَلِّ لَنَا فَيَقُولُ

 لَا إِنَّ بَعْضَكُمْ عَلَى بَعْضٍ أُمَرَاءُ تَكْرِمَةَ اللَّهِ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةَ

When the Messiah returns, he will be asked to lead the prayer but will defer to the leader of the Muslims
