Prayer Is A Light

بِسْــــــــــــــــــمِ اﷲِالرَّحْمَنِ اارَّحِيم

Abu Malik al-Ash’ari reported: The Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم said:

“Purity is half of Faith and al-Hamdu Liliah (praise be to Allah) fills the scale,

and Subhan Allah (glory be to Allah) and al-Hamdu Liliah fill up what is between the heavens and the earth,

and prayer is a light, and charity is proof (of sincere faith), and patience is illumination, and the Qur’an is a proof for you or against you.

All people go out early in the morning and sell themselves, either setting themselves free or destroying themselves.”

( Sahih Muslim )

Purity is half of Faith, Prayer is Light, Charity is Proof, and Patience is Illumination

Dhuha ( Morning Prayer )

بِسْــــــــــــــــــمِ اﷲِالرَّحْمَنِ اارَّحِيم

On the authority of Abu Huraira who said that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him said), “Every small bone of everyone has upon it a charitable act for everyday upon which the sun rises. Bringing about justice between two is an act of charity. Helping a man get on his mount, lifting him onto it or helping him put his belongings onto it, is a charitable act. A good word is a charitable act. Every step you take toward the prayer is a charitable act. And removing a harmful thing from the path is a charitable act.” (Recorded in al-Bukhari and Muslim)

In a hadith recorded in Sahih Muslim, the Prophet (s) said :

“Every morning there is on the bones and joints of any of you a charitable act. Every tasbeehah is a charitable act; every tahmeedah is a charitable act; every tahleelah is a charitable act; every takbeerah is a charitable act; ordering the good is a charitable act; eradicating evil is a charitable act. To fulfill that charity, it is sifficient to pray two rakats of Dhuha.”

This hadith contains elements of both the hadith recorded above, and the previous hadith, whilst also containing the important addition of the Dhuha prayer fulfilling the obligations of charity due upon the human being for each day the sun rises. The Dhuha prayer consists of at least two rakaats, but can contain as many as eight rakaats broken up into sets of two rakaats each. It is prayed in the time from just after sunrise until just before high noon, but it is preferred to delay it, based on the hadith of the Prophet (s):

“The prayer of the pentinent is when your weaned camels feel the heat of the sun.” (Recorded in Muslim)

Due to the fact that the hadith states that charity is due on the body on every day that the sun rises, and that the Dhuha prayer fulfills this charity, it is highly recommended that we strive to pray at least two rakaats of prayer to fulfill this requirement.

Let’s make it our practice to perform at least two rakaats of prayer during the morning time to show our gratitude to Allah (swt) for the blessing of our bodies, and to fulfill this act of charity that is due upon us each day the sun rises.

بِسْــــــــــــــــــمِ اﷲِالرَّحْمَنِ اارَّحِيم

Pray to God,  is a very important case and as well as noble. People who diligently pray to God that does not mean he is a man who despised and weak. True, he is contemptible in the presence of the sublime, God. True, he is weak in the presence of the Almighty, Allah The Almighty. But he was not a lowly and weak at the sight of men. Why? Because this person is very real ideology position himself in this world. He fully understands that all human effort to appear noble and strong in the presence of other human beings will never be achieved if he actually confronts her face to all the glory and the strength of this false world. Only by confronting someone face to God only would reach the true glory.

No one can be noble and strong with be busy-busy pursuing wealth and riches with the assumption that if he was rich and the great wealth he will be noble and powerful man. No one can be noble and strong with a helter-skelter pursuit of rank and power with the assumption that if he had become powerful officials and then he will be noble and powerful man. No one can be noble and strong with a somersault pursue fame and notoriety with the assumption that if he had become popular or be a celebrity so he will be noble and powerful man.

The source of the glory of man lies in the craft and sincerity and pray for the divine . Even the Prophet Muhammad Peace be upon him described the activities of prayer as a battle of the most precious in the sight of Allah.

Note also that for God is very easy to answer some one's prayer. But there is a condition. Let the Muslims praying in the present state of the liver, heart earnestly expect approval (grant) from the heart of God and certainly not negligent. May God always listens and hears all our prayers that it brings Him pleasure.

Aamiin.
