Satan was created from Fire

بِسْــــــــــــــــــمِ اﷲِالرَّحْمَنِ اارَّحِيم

‘Atiyyah reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said, 

“Anger comes from Satan and Satan was created from fire. 

Fire is extinguished with water, 

so if you become angry then perform ablution with water (wudlu)”

(Sunan Abu Dawud)

عَنْ جَدِّي عَطِيَّةَ قَالَ

 قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ الْغَضَبَ مِنْ الشَّيْطَانِ

 وَإِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ خُلِقَ مِنْ النَّارِ

 وَإِنَّمَا تُطْفَأُ النَّارُ بِالْمَاءِ فَإِذَا غَضِبَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَتَوَضَّأْ
