Abdullah ibn Mas’ud reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said,

“O young men! If you are able to support a wife, then get married. Indeed, it restrains the eyes (from a lustful glance) and protects the private parts (from adultery),

but whoever is not able to do so then he has the duty to fast (shaum) because indeed it is a means of controlling sexual desire”

( Sahih Muslim )

Men who are able to get married should do so, but if they cannot they must perform fasting to control their sexual desires

Sabra al-Juhanni reported on the authority of his father that the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, prohibited temporary marriage and he said,

“Behold, it is forbidden from this day of yours until the Day of Resurrection, but whoever has given something (as dowry) should not take it back.”

(  Sahih Muslim )

It is forbidden to contract a temporary marriage
